Privacy policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026.
Who is responsible
This site is run by Kengy Van Hijfte, trading as Websoufflé, Canadezenstraat 83, 8380 Lissewege, Belgium, company number 0789.542.089. For privacy questions, mail info@kengy.be.
What I process
- Contact form: your name, email address and message.
- Technical data: IP address and browser data, needed to run the site securely and limit abuse of the form.
This site uses no statistics and no advertising trackers.
Why
- To answer your message and, if we want to work together, to prepare that (pre-contractual steps, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To protect the site and the form against spam and abuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who I share data with
I never sell your data. I work with processors that help run the site: DigitalOcean (data centre in Amsterdam, the Netherlands) for hosting, Brevo for sending email, and OpenAI for the spam check of doubtful form submissions. OpenAI may process data outside the EU; for that I rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Fonts and scripts come from this site itself. LinkedIn, GitHub and other external sites only receive data when you click a link yourself.
How long
I keep messages for up to 12 months after our last contact, or longer if we enter into an agreement.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Mail info@kengy.be. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).
